Magic Rock was founded in 2011 out of a lifelong passion for beer. Drawing on local Yorkshire brewing heritage and the vibrant US beer scene, along with peers in the wider beer community, they aim for a taste experience magically removed from the mundane. There's a taproom in Holmfirth.
Magic Rock, brewing in Holmfirth, describe their beers as 'packed with intense yet approachable flavours which will challenge and inspire, but above all remain balanced and drinkable': Think Magic, Drink Magic, as they put it. Their range spans Magic Haze, a 4.4% hazy pale ale, Saucery, a 3.9% session IPA, Cannonball, a 7.4% India Pale Ale, High Wire Grapefruit, a 5.5% pale ale, and Dark Arts, a 6.0% surreal stout: a decent spread from session strength right through to a proper dark stout.
