Ossett Brewery is a progressive and passionate independent brewery located in the heart of Yorkshire, brewing in Ossett since 1998 and now marking twenty-five years of it. SALT Brewing Co is a sister brand, so if you know one you probably know the other.
Ossett Brewery has been going since 1998, founded by Bob Lawson and Bob Hunter as a pioneering micro brewpub, and by 2001 their Silver King had already picked up the SIBA National Champion Award. The core range covers Excelsius (dry hopped pale), Barghest (stout), Silver King (gluten-free American pale), Butterley (Yorkshire bitter) and White Rat Nitro (hoppy pale), all now available in cans, plus the separate Rat range (Punch Rat, Fuzzy Rat and King Rat) for something bigger and hazier. No faff, no fuss, just great beer for all, brewed at scale: over 9 million pints a year, shipped nationwide and beyond.
