Treen's is Simon and Sarah Treen, brewing in Ponsanooth in Cornwall since 2016. Both come from Cornish families and are proud of it, and that comes through in the beer - a best bitter, a golden ale and a smoked ale among them. A properly small, properly local Cornish brewery.
Founded in 2016 by Simon and Sarah Treen, this Cornish outfit brews Treen's Classic, a deep amber, malty Best Bitter at 4.3%, the lighter Golden Session Ale Treen's Essential at 3.8%, the 4.8% Golden Ale Treen's Sunbeam (named after racing boats on the Fal estuary), and the 5.2% Premium Ale Treen's Resolve. Treen's Regatta, a 4.0% Golden Ale, turns up in warmer months. The trophy cabinet backs it up too: a CAMRA South-West regional gold for cask beer and a Best Beer Brewery award for the region.
