Piglove takes its name from the Venezuelan expression cochino amor, used to describe a love for something so big, raw and passionate that it becomes filthy. For pigs it's mud; for them it's craft beer. There's nothing they enjoy more than getting messy in the brewery working on new ideas.
Piglove make "pleasantly fragrant beers with an exotic twist by adding unusual ingredients from different parts of the world": a five-strong range spanning an alcohol-free NEIPA, a Venezuelan-inspired pilsner and a nitro stout. Their hazy pale is "shining with tropical brightness whilst staying soft, hazy and deeply aromatic", with "Citra, Mosaic and El Dorado Hops" combining to deliver "mango, pineapple, guava and ripe citrus" in that "signature pillowy NEIPA mouthfeel": bold, fragrant stuff with real international influence behind it.
