Pennine Brewery has had Tim Butler as head brewer since 2013, overseeing the development and crafting of the range. They're cask-focused, and unusually they run their own delivery drivers taking beer straight to customers' cellars. The site is more about the team than the origin story, so there's not much history on offer.
Pennine Brewery brews from Well Hall Farm near Bedale, North Yorkshire, three times a week: head brewer Tim has overseen the range since 2013 and has brewed over 3.5 million pints along the way. The core range covers plenty of ground: crisp, citrus-fresh Hair Of The Dog, zesty Pennine IPA with a hint of black pepper, toffee-rich Heartland, mellow Millie George, delicate Scapegoat, malty-toffee Amber Necker, light Pacific and clean, refreshing Northern Soul. They were also one of the first UK breweries to print units of alcohol on their pump clips, and produce a gin alongside the beer.
