Black Sheep Brewery

Ripon, Yorkshire and the Humber

1 live drinks deal

Founded in Masham in 1992 by Paul Theakston, after his family's brewery was swallowed by a bigger firm: the name was his wife Sue's idea, and it says everything about the intent. Built partly from salvaged kit out of defunct breweries, and now run by the next generation of the family.

Beers like Black Sheep Ale, Riggwelter, Milk Stout, Black Sheep Blonde and Golden Sheep Ale are brewed with fresh Dales water using traditional methods.
