Born in 2003 at the Foresters Arms in Carlton on a single-barrel plant, which its own reputation quickly outgrew. The brewery moved to a barn at Manor Farm in Bellerby and a five-barrel setup, and has been working out of the Dales ever since.
Wensleydale Brewery has six beers holding down the core range: Falconer, a light copper session bitter (4.1%); Semer Water, a blonde easy-drinker (4.1%); Game Keeper, a Yorkshire Best Bitter (4.3%); Black Dub, a stout (4.4%); Fuzzy Logic, an unfiltered, unfined, vegan-friendly hazy pale (4.4%); and Wensleydale Gold, a zingy golden ale (4.5%). On top of that, "we love to mix it up, so every week we brew a new and unique beer", so it's worth following them on social media to catch what's new.
