Green Jack was founded in Lowestoft, Suffolk in 1993 by Tim Dunford, and cask beer is very much the speciality. Their Ripper has twice been named CAMRA's Supreme Champion Winter Beer of Great Britain, once in 2006 and again in 2018.

Green Jack's core range runs from the 3.8% Golden Best up to the 5.5% Rising Sun, taking in Nightingale, LGM 1, Trawlerboys, Lurcher Stout and First Light along the way: a proper spread of cask ales. They also rotate seasonal cask beers through the year, with releases like Excelsior and Albion, Summer Dream, Fruit Bat and Big Dog, and Old Cock landing across the December-to-December cycle. Their craft keg beers are unfiltered and naturally carbonated too. Plenty to explore whatever time of year you catch them.

National courier delivery usually takes 2–4 working days, with a £25 minimum order. Local delivery runs within about 30 miles of the Lowestoft brewery, and into Norfolk, Suffolk and Essex. There's no minimum for collection from the brewery.
