The Driftwood Spars Brewery has been hand-crafting beer since 2000, right where the Atlantic meets the cliffs of St Agnes. They specialise in gluten-free ales, brewed a stone's throw from the beach: a proper taste of the Cornish coast.

Driftwood Spars is brewing down at Trevaunance Cove, and the whole range is gluten-free (mostly vegan-friendly too), which isn't something you see from many Cornish breweries. Tim Lawrence took over as Head Brewer in spring 2024. On the beer side you'll find names like Alfie's Revenge, Stippy Stappy IPA, Blue Hills, Dune Hazy Pale Ale, Ocean Pale Ale and Midnight Skinny Dipper: a proper spread of styles from crisp pales to darker stuff.
