Weetwood started in 1992 in a barn in the hamlet of Weetwood, which is where the name came from. It now brews at Kelsall in Cheshire, near Tarporley, and runs a distillery alongside the beer, turning out whisky, gin and vodka. There is a shop and a taproom on site.
Weetwood Ales use British barley, carefully chosen hops and soft Cheshire water across a wide range of award-winning beers, from Cheshire Cat and Eastgate Ale to Weetwood Best Bitter, Oregon Pale, Jester IPA, Turncoat NEIPA, Weetwood Pilsner and Silverback Stout. Beyond beer, they've grown into cider too, all in the pursuit of, as they put it, "the enjoyment of life."
