Spitting Feathers Brewery was founded in spring 2005 by Matthew Walley and Terry Ashford, winning Beer of the Festival at CAMRA's Northwich Beer Festival that same year. Based at Common Farm, Waverton, near Chester, it produces keg, cask and bottled beers and runs The Brewery Tap in Chester, named West Cheshire CAMRA Pub of the Year 2025, plus the West Kirby Tap.
