In 2019 founder and head brewer Max began his brewing journey from humble beginnings. Inspired by the Lindisfarne Monks, his first few brews were mead before he soon moved onto the good stuff. The family-run brewery is in Blaydon, Tyne and Wear - small-batch, vegan-friendly real ales and stouts.
Their beers draw on Canadian heritage and take in IPAs alongside the real ales and stouts, and they're 100% vegan-friendly through and through. Their core range takes in six beers, from the maple-inflected Canny Canuck to Nowt But Stout, The Full Mountie (a Canadian-style pilsner), Oot n' Aboot IPA, North by North East session pale and Belta Blonde. Alongside the regulars they also turn out a couple of seasonal specials on cask. It's a range that's picked up SIBA and CAMRA awards along the way too.
