Powderkeg is a microbrewery fuelling micro-rebellions - a gentle reminder, as they put it, that life is not all about striving and surviving, and that there is beer to be drunk and dreams to follow. Established in November 2014 in the Devon countryside by John and Jess Magill. Gluten-free and vegan.
Powderkeg's whole thing is fresh, bold flavours in easy-drinking beers that are also gluten-free and vegan. The line-up covers a fair bit of ground (Green Light, an alcohol-free IPA, Harmony, a Helles lager, Speak Easy, a pale ale, and Trail Blazer, a red IPA) so there's a style for most moods, and they put out limited edition beers alongside them if you like seeing what a brewery's trying next.
