Teignworthy brews on the edge of Dartmoor in a traditional Victorian tower brewhouse, where gravity does the work floor by floor and fermentation happens in open squares using their own house yeast. They believe in traditional values, sourcing local ingredients from local businesses. There's a gin in the mix too.
Teignworthy Brewery make Devon's finest traditional ales, with nine different conditional ales on the go and what they say is the largest bottled beer range in Devon. The core line-up runs from Reel Ale (4%), clean and quenching, through Thirsty Blonde (4.2%) and Gun Dog (4.3%) with its floral Golding hops, to golden ale Old Moggie (4.4%), a gold winner at Falmouth Beer Festival, and dark ruby mild Martha's Mild (5.3%), brewed with entirely British ingredients. Beyond that sit over 20 seasonal and special ales, including Christmas Cracker, winter warmer Cor Bugga, and Black Dog Mild.
