Monty's Brewery was founded in 2009 by husband-and-wife team Russ and Pam Honeyman, and brews from Montgomery in Wales. They put a particular focus on gluten-free beer, which is still less common than it ought to be, so worth knowing if that matters to you.
Montys is a multi-award-winning brewery based in Montgomery, Wales, with a range built on solid malt backbone and a hop punch. Sunshine (4.2%) is their refreshing golden ale, packed with floral and citrus aromas from Cascade hops, while Mischief (5%) is a stronger golden ale that's not overly hopped and stays easily quaffable. Red IPA (4.2%) brings crystal, chocolate and black malt character alongside that hop punch, and Gwyn A Du is a gluten-free nitro stout. The trophy shelf includes Gold for Session IPA at the 2025 European Beer Challenge and Champion Cask Session Pale Ale at SIBA Wales and West 2024.
