Stonehouse was established in 2007 by Shane and Alison Parr, and is still a family business at Weston near Oswestry in Shropshire. The team bust a gut to brew consistent favourites, along with ripper new brews. There's a distillery and a Beer & BBQ taproom on the site as well.
Stonehouse Brewery now employs ten people from the heart of Shropshire. They make 'bonza beers, spirits and cracking tucker', including a fabulous hazy NEIPA, with new seasonal specials joining the line-up from time to time. It's a brewery that's firmly committed, in its own words, to not taking over the world, which sums up the mood: no big claims, just decent beer made by a team that's stayed small on purpose since day one.
