Established in 2017 in Leigh-on-Sea, out on the Essex estuary, brewing both craft beer and real ale for the public and the trade. They run a local delivery round across the SS, RM and CM postcodes alongside national courier shipping, which is a nice touch if you happen to be nearby.
Leigh on Sea Brewing Co has been brewing in Leigh-on-Sea since 2017, turning out what they call award-winning traditional ales and craft beers. They're the only brewery in the country to have won four SIBA Regional Golds for keg beers, back in 2019. On tap you'll typically find ten keg lines, including a cider and a permanent gluten-free option, plus two cask beers at any one time, alongside charity collaborations, new styles and one-off small-kit specials. Look out for names like Six Little Ships, Kursaal Gold and Crowstone.
Nationwide courier delivery is £6.50 with a £30 minimum order, free on orders over £65. Local delivery to SS, RM and CM postcodes is £5, free over £30, delivered on Fridays with a Thursday 5pm cut-off. Click and collect is also available.
