Ideal Day are a small, independent, family-run brewery in their hometown of Lostwithiel, on the banks of the River Fowey in Cornwall. Nia and James Rylance are behind it, and they brew with regenerative wheat, heritage barley and whole-flower British hops grown on a single UK farm.
Ideal Day describe themselves as ingredient-focused, making unique beers inspired by British and European traditions. The range spans styles rather than sticking to one lane: Precious Time, a South West Coast IPA at 5.2%; Less Haste, an extra lagered beer at 5.4%; Beaming, a lemon balm sour at 4.3%; Path of the Sun, a field beer at 4.5%; and Looking Up, an English pale at 4.5%. A brewery clearly built around where its ingredients come from as much as the beer styles themselves.
Delivery is £7.99, free on orders over £55.
