Harbour were born by the Cornish coast in 2012 and brew from Tretoil Farm at Lanivet, just outside Bodmin. They have their own spring water source on site, which is a rare luxury and one they make good use of. Well worth a look if Cornish beer is your thing.
Harbour Brewing, an award-winning outfit, sum up their approach as brewed to bring the sunshine – and the beers back it up. There's a new Premium Pilsner at 4.6%, a Helles-style lager called Singlefin at 4%, a Hazy IPA known as Big Wednesday at 5.6%, and a lighter Bright Pale Ale, Beach Party, at 3.4%. Good spread across styles and strengths, from crushable lagers to a proper hazy, all with that laid-back, sunshine-chasing character running through them.
