Ennerdale Brewery was founded in 2010 in the hamlet of Croasdale near Ennerdale, Cumbria, under the guidance of the late Peter Laws. It relocated to a purpose-built site in Rowrah in 2016, where it also runs a bistro, and has since installed 176 solar panels as part of its sustainability efforts.
They keep it simple (water, malt, hops and yeast, given a week-long fermentation) using locally sourced Cumbrian ingredients. Their beers cover Ennerdale Blonde (3.8%), Wild (4.2%), Darkest (4.2%) and Pale (4.0%), sold by the case of 12 bottles.
Delivery is £9.49, free on orders over £70.
