It started, as these things do, over a beer: two friends, a bonkers idea, and a brew kit in an old garden shed on the edge of the Lake District. That was 2022. There's a Keswick taproom now, a beer shop in Cockermouth, and the Tractor Shed brewery under their belt.

Up in the Lake District, Crooked River reckon beer tastes better up north, and their core range backs it up. Pacific Ale is the signature beer, a thirst-quenching session ale with big tropical aromas from south Pacific hops, while their Helles Lager is a gluten-free, German-style lager, balanced and malty-sweet with fruity, floral noble hop character. Alongside the core range sits a dedicated Cask Range, plus a rotating line of specials for something different. You'll find them pouring across their Keswick and Cockermouth sites.
