Thomas Arkell bought a 13th-century water mill in 1827 and Richard Arkell started brewing there in 1865. Nearly 160 years on, the mill wheel still drives the pumps and machinery. Real ale in the heart of the Cotswolds, with twenty inns to drink it in.
