The UK's oldest lager brewery, started in 1882 by German immigrants who brought Bavarian methods to north Wales. The original site went in the early 2000s, only the Grade II listed brewhouse survives, and the Roberts family revived the brand in 2011. Now co-owned by Rob McElhenney and Ryan Reynolds.
