Started in 2012 out of a love of fermentation, barrel-ageing and flavour above all, with a Somerset base that supplied both the inspiration and some of the ingredients. Wild and sour beers were the founding passion, and challenging what people expect beer to taste like was rather the point.
Curious Wild Beer's range spans a lot of ground: Niwatoko, a fruity 8.4% saison brewed with elderflower; Everstone, a hazy 5.8% New Zealand IPA; B.A.B.S 6, a hefty 12.5% barrel-aged blended stout; Sleeping Lemons, a citrus sour beer; and Milk Stout Millionaire, a sweet-and-salty dessert stout. Keep an eye out too for their limited editions, which come and go through the year.
