Established in 2011 in Ashford, in the middle of the Kent countryside, with the stated aim of making a bold and positive statement about modern British brewing. The Garden of England setting is not incidental; it runs through how the whole operation presents itself.

Curious Brewery is fully independent, run by brewers, and focused on making the UK's best lager, IPA and cider: a claim backed up by being named UK Brewer of the Year in 2019. Their flagship Curious Brew (4.7%) is brewed with cascade and saaz hops and English malted barley, re-fermented with champagne yeast and finished with Nelson Sauvin hops for a cleaner, fruitier finish, and has won gold at the World Beer Awards. The range also runs to Curious Apple cider (5.2%), Curious Session IPA (4.4%) and The Curious Mix-Up (4%+).
