Brewery
Warwick, West Midlands
Founded in 2003, Slaughterhouse Brewery began with Steve Ridgway's passion for crafting exceptional beers. It's still a family affair - son Alex now owns it and brews - and it operates out of a former slaughterhouse building in Warwick. Small-batch, cask-focused, and they run a community homebrew club.
Slaughterhouse started life in 2003 when Steve Ridgway began brewing out of a modest garage, and the DIY spirit still sums them up: "Big flavours. 4-barrels. Two brewers." Their range leans bold and characterful, from Saddleback, a duty-busting session bitter, through to Alright, Alright, Alright!, Night Rider, Wild Boar and Necromancer. It's a small, hands-on operation making beer with plenty of attitude rather than a sprawling catalogue.
