A husband-and-wife microbrewery in the Fylde countryside near Lytham, drawing on trips to the American west coast, Japan and New Zealand. Lagers, pilsners and pale ales made with traditional methods on modern kit, none of it filtered, and all of it kept in a purpose-built cold store at 4°C.
Silent Mill Brew Co started life in 2020 as what founder describes as 'this madcap idea'. They draw on a love of classic pilsners, German Helles, Kolsch, modern pales, hoppy lagers and IPAs picked up from their travels around the world, giving time and patience a say in the finished pint. Golden Axe is one to look out for.
