Established in 2012 in the beer garden behind the Furnace Inn in Derby, where founder Pedro brewed Launchpad, a 3.9% pale. Awards followed and in 2015 they moved to a 5,000 sq ft site at Little Eaton. Unfined, unfiltered and vegan friendly, with The Shiny Tap on site.
Shiny Brewing Co's best-known beer is Shiny Lager, a 4.5% gluten-free lager, and the wider range leans into fresh IPAs, gluten-free favourites and limited releases: the brewery is certified gluten-free and vegan-friendly across the board. Beyond the lager, beers on their site include DDH pales like Moon in Your Palm, Look of Love and Dolphin Milk, plus the punchier Bleep & Bloop DIPA at 8%.
