Founded in Harrogate in 1993, back when new-world pale ales were a genuinely unusual thing to be brewing in North Yorkshire. Still family-owned and run, still built around flavour and aroma, and still turning out easy-drinking, well-balanced beer in cask, keg and can.
Rooster's is an award-winning craft brewery that's been at the pale ale and IPA game for years: originators and purveyors of craft Pale Ales & IPAs, as they put it. The core range includes Yorkshire's Best, Good As Hell and Haus Lager, all gluten-free, plus the Assassin series (Baby-Faced, Easy-Going, Hazy-Faced and Mango Hazy), also gluten-free. Handily, the entire core range and most limited editions are vegan too, so there's a lot of ground covered without much compromise.
