Powder Monkey is a craft brewery in Gosport, Hampshire, built inside a restored 19th-century naval gunpowder store at Priddy's Hard. Founded in 2019, it began when co-founder Andy discovered the long-abandoned building and saw its potential. There's a taproom, shop and visitor experience alongside the cask and keg beers.
Brewed in a historic gunpowder building, Powder Monkey's range runs from the Drop Anchor Vienna Pale Ale and Monkey's Charge DDH Pale Ale to the Fearless Monkey Pale Ale and Bubbleheads Brut IPA, all in 440ml cans. So plenty of pale ale variety to explore, from a hop-forward DDH version through to a Brut IPA if you want something drier. Worth knowing they also run brewery tours and experiences on-site, so there's more to a visit than just the beer.
Nationwide delivery is £5.95 on orders under £45, free above that. Local delivery to PO1–PO17 is £2.95. They don't ship to Northern Ireland, the Scottish Highlands or the UK islands.
