In summer 2018 two brothers from Lanarkshire found themselves hatching a plan to open a microbrewery. Drawn together by changes in their lives, Ronnie and Kenny Lees had both been entertaining thoughts of having a brewery one day - unbeknown to each other. Outlandish is what came of it.
Outlandish Brewing is a proudly Scottish outfit that mixes traditional and contemporary beers with plenty of vernacular humour. The range runs wide: Beamer, a malty, smooth amber ale with mild bitterness; Belter, full-bodied with exotic fruit aromas; Sonsie, crisp and dry with a vibrant hop profile; Stramash, an experimental IPA using lager yeast and cooling techniques; Skoosh, a tropical, citrusy session IPA; Drouthy, an easy-drinking ale with subtle citrus and floral notes; and Gallus, a crisp craft lager. Hand-crafted Scottish beer: pure quality.
