Proudly independent, they brew from a characterful 300-year-old barn near Reading, and the beer travels right across the UK - but it all starts with the local community that inspires them. A straightforward outfit doing a straightforward thing well.
Loddon's an independent, family-owned brewery running a 20-barrel plant, with beers they say have been known for quality and consistency since 2003. Names include Citra Quad, Dragonfly, Ferryman's Gold, Hoppit, Hullabaloo, Razzle Dazzle and Black Darter: Hoppit's the one that started it all, now over 20 years old, while Hocus Pocus picked up a National Gold at the SIBA Independent Beer Awards 2026. They run specials too, like Farmers Paradise, a 4.0% gluten-free pale ale.
