It started with beer brewed as wedding favours in October 2015, which led to a UK brewery tour, which led to Mike and Luci Clayton-Jones quitting corporate jobs to travel the world researching craft drinks. They came home to Reading to put the lot to use, and the name is their own.
Double-Barrelled's flagship beers are Parka, an award-winning hazy pale ale; Ding, an unfiltered, unpasteurised keller lager at 4.9%; and Kitchen Disco, a 5.8% hazy IPA built for a Friday night. Beyond those three, they've released limited Fragment editions and even teamed up with Siren for a one-off collaboration called Space Cat.
