Lincoln Green takes its name from the cloth worn by Robin Hood, and the brewery leans into that legend properly. Established in 2012 in Hucknall, Nottinghamshire, it brews cask ales and runs a small group of its own pubs, with people at the heart of how it works.
Lincoln Green have been brewing since 2012, a multi-award winning outfit with a grain-to-glass approach and SIBA FSQ and Cask Marque accreditation to their name. Four beers carry the name: Marion, a 3.8% pale ale with grapefruit citrus aroma and a biscuit malt finish; Hood, a 4.2% best bitter built on premium Maris Otter malt; Archer, a 4.0% American pale ale packed with US Chinook and Citra hops; and Tuck, a 4.7% porter (rich, smooth and well rounded) which picked up a SIBA Gold Award. Their pubs take their cue from George Orwell's 'The Moon Under Water' essay.
