Two founders who left careers in oil and gas to brew the bold, hop-forward beer they thought Scotland was missing. The first commercial brew went out in May 2016; less than a decade on there's a production brewery in Dyce, bars in Aberdeen and Edinburgh, and cans on supermarket shelves.
Fierce Beer's entire core range is vegan and gluten-free, built around names like Fierce IPA, Fancy Juice, Cerveza and Very Big Beers. Alongside that steady line-up, limited-edition and collaborative releases drop throughout the year, so there's always something new to hunt down as well as the regulars to fall back on. It's a solid mix of dependable core beers and rotating one-offs, all brewed with that dietary-friendly base running through the whole range.
