Escape Brewery started with a few homebrewers from Bolton who wanted to escape the daily grind of working for someone else, so they did just that. They started out in a garage, as so many good breweries do, and now turn out cask-conditioned ales with a nod to modern tastes.
Their core range is brewed on a rotational basis for cask-loving trade customers. The line-up includes Virgil, a 5% ESB, Taxi for Cole (4.8% London Porter), signature beer Erik, a 4.4% Citra Amber Pale and their first ever commercial brew back in 2019, plus The Shackles Are Off, an easy-drinking 4.2% Ultra Pale, and Tom, Dick & Harry, a 4.5% amber pale.
