A family brewery on an old working farm in the Chiltern Hills, founded in 1980 by Richard and Lesley Jenkinson and now run by their sons George and Tom. The approach is deliberately traditional: English malt and hops, age-old methods, and beers made to be wholesome rather than clever.
Flagship Beechwood Bitter, first brewed in 1982, has picked up three Great Taste Awards, alongside Chiltern Lager and the award-winning Copper Beech. There's a seasonal Kop Hill Ale for the Kop Hill Climb event too, plus small-batch releases like Session IPA and Chiltern Dunkel, all made with class A malt and hops sourced in England.
