Founded in 1882 in Cardiff, Wales, by Samuel Arthur Brain, S.A. Brain & Co (Brains Brewery) is Wales' most iconic brewing company. Operating out of the modern Dragon Brewery in Cardiff, it produces traditional ales like Brains SA and The Reverend James, distributed widely across the UK
Brains has been brewing in Wales for over 140 years. These days it's all made at the Dragon Brewery, described as a state-of-the-art site where the master brewers combine artistry and science. The range runs from Black and the classic SA through to SA Gold, Dark, Reverend James and Rev Reserve, plus No Brainer for a 0.5% option if you're cutting back: a proper spread for a brewery with this much history behind it.
