A genuine one-man band: Jack Baron conceived the brewery in lockdown and started trading late in 2021, from a farm in East Hertfordshire. Five tanks refilled every three weeks means an ever-changing range; only Fuzz, the hazy pale, comes round regularly. The taproom opens about twenty days a year.
Baron Brewing is based on a farm in Great Hormead, East Hertfordshire. Fuzz, their 4.5% hazy pale, is the beer that comes round regularly; everything else is a one-off recipe or an infrequent repeat. The focus is modern styles: highly hopped ales, fresh lagers and the occasional dark beer.
