Dundee's first working brewery in over fifty years, set up in 2016 in the Old Foundry Building on Blackness Road. Crisp lagers and small-batch brews are the output, and they make rather a lot of the site's history, where the Hammermen once forged iron, they now forge beer.
71 Brewing brew with thought and purity for creativity and endeavour. Beers include 71 Lager, a 4.4% pilsner, Haze Halo (5%, hazy IPA) and Cloud Fall, a 4.5% hazy pale ale, alongside Rollin' Coaster, Highline Haze and Heavy Lifting. They run a separate Specials collection too, so there's usually something rotating through.
