The idea for Snowdon Craft Beer started quietly, with a feeling that it was time for something different. Founded in 2006, it began on a family farm in North Wales before relocating to Deganwy. The range takes in Snowdon Craft Lager, an IPA and Summit Pale Ale.

Snowdon cover the classic styles done properly: a crisp Lager (4.3%) brewed with European noble hops, a Porter (5.4%) built on crystal and chocolate malts with coffee and liquorice notes, and a mahogany Bitter (4.2%) with biscuity malt and a hedgerow-fruit finish. On the hoppier side there's an IPA (3.4%) with Mosaic hops giving pineapple and grapefruit, and Summit (4.8%), which leans on Cascade, Centennial and Mosaic for citrus and tropical character. They've also collaborated with a Somerset producer on Seidr, a medium-dry cider.
