Nene Valley started with a trial period on a small experimental setup in an outbuilding before moving to Oundle Wharf in September 2012. They've been aiming for all their beers to be gluten free since the end of 2015, around the time they first started canning Big Bang Theory and Release the Chimps.
Nene Valley Brewery brews on a brand new 2500L kit from DME in Canada, with a brewery shop on site serving the local community. Their own line is that the aim is a steady supply of new and interesting beers: plenty of it one-offs and collaborations, to keep them and their drinkers interested. Names in the range include Heisenberg, Release The Chimps and Egyptian Cream alongside more familiar territory like a Bitter and a Blond Session Ale.
