The Mauldon family of Sudbury first became involved in brewing back in 1795, and the brewery still trades on brewing fine Suffolk ales. The range runs to traditional beers including Black Adder, Suffolk Pride and Silver Adder. Not many breweries can point to a start date in the eighteenth century.
Mauldons have been brewing in Sudbury, Suffolk since 1795, one of the county's oldest names in beer. The family tradition was revived in 1981 by Peter Mauldon, and current owner Charlie Buckle, who farms just 10 miles from the brewery, took over in September 2019. The core range runs to six ales, including Suffolk Pride, Black Adder, White Adder, Mole Trap and Ploughmans.
Standard delivery is £9.50 and takes 2–3 working days, free on orders over £55. Local delivery to CO10 and IP7 postcodes is free, and collection from The Bottle Shop at the brewery is free too.
