Lowrise

Bedford

Lowrise was started by a group of friends who realised that loving a social drink and keeping in good shape didn't always complement each other. The answer was beer at 4% brewed to be lower in calories, carbs and sugar, with a Lager and a Hazy Pale making up the core range.

Lowrise was started by a group of friends who spotted a gap: after seeing how popular low-calorie beer had become in the southern hemisphere, they reckoned the UK was missing decent options - so, in their words, they naively decided to make it themselves. The range is small but focused: Lowrise Lager and Lowrise Hazy Pale, both 4% ABV, sold in 12 or 24 x 330ml cans, each with 35-40% fewer calories than standard beers. You'll find them stocked in Tesco too.
