Loch Lomond Brewery started life in Euan and Fiona Maceachern's kitchen in Luss, on the shores of the loch, before going commercial in 2011. Still a family business, it moved to a larger site near Dumbarton in 2019. It took CAMRA's Champion Beer of Scotland in 2017.
Loch Lomond Brewery cover a good spread (Oompa Lupulin, an 8% DIPA; Out of Range, a 5.9% NEIPA; The Gloaming at 4.4%; and Bonnie & Clyde at 4.5%) alongside an alcohol-free option, Southern Summit at 0.5%. They don't stand still either: beers that have come through include Howling at the Moon, a raspberry sour, Muscle Car, a New England DIPA, and Dove from Above, an NZ pale, plus collaborations like Rubus Black with Abbeydale Brewery, a cranachan porter, and a barley wine collab called Shark.
