Family-run and independent, launched by the Dunsmore family in 2015 to make people think again about beer and Scotland. Now twenty-plus strong. The whole thing takes its cue from Edinburgh-born Eduardo Paolozzi, father of pop art, which is where Paolozzi Lager gets its name.
The range covers flagship Paolozzi Helles Lager and Paolozzi Unfiltered, alongside Untitled IPA, Edinburgh Lager, Edinburgh Stout and Edinburgh Pale. Their stated approach is to only brew beers they genuinely think they can do better than what's already out there, and the Paolozzi Lager backed that up, winning UK's Best Helles Lager at the World Beer Awards four years running, 2016 to 2019.
