Founded by someone who loved beer and sailing and hated hangovers, which is a fair enough basis for a brewery. Jump Ship makes alcohol-free beer in Edinburgh: bold and full-flavoured is the stated aim, and the whole range is vegan and gluten-free as well as alcohol-free.
Jump Ship make alcohol-free craft beer, and only alcohol-free: founder Sonja Mitchell set the brewery up in December 2019 after leaving her day job to do exactly that. Four beers cover the classics: Yardarm (an alcohol-free lager), Jackstaff (an alcohol-free IPA), Steamboat (an alcohol-free hazy pale ale) and Stoker's (an alcohol-free stout), alongside a Dazzle Ship range for specials like the Harlequin IPA. Yardarm picked up best no and low alcohol lager at the World Beer Awards 2021, and Jump Ship have pledged at least 10% of profits to charity.
