Giles Smeath founded this in 1996, restoring an 800-year-old brewing tradition to Weymouth on the Jurassic Coast. It began on the old Devenish & Groves site and moved to Crossways in 2011, into a spring-water-fed brewhouse. Taproom on Friday evenings, with tours the same afternoon.
Dorset's facility on the Jurassic coast is capable of two million pints a year. The current line-up includes Jurassic Coast IPA – a clean, fruity citrus IPA with a hoppy sweet finish – and Tom Brown's, a crisp, biscuity straw-gold lager with a herbal, grassy aroma, plus Origin Original, Chesil, Jurassic, Durdle Door and Jurassic Dark.
Some items, including four-pint containers and 5L bag-in-box, are local delivery or collection only. No general delivery rate is published.
