A family-run brewery on the North East coast making traditional English beer with genuinely English ingredients: home-grown hops and malt, plus their own yeast strain. Cask and bottle-conditioned ales, with a hands-on approach to production that they're keen to point out at every stage.
The range takes its names from local life and legend: Shuggy Boat Blonde, Jack the Devil, Lovely Nelly, Sandpiper IPA, Rocket Brigade IPA, Grace Darling Gold, Porthole Coffee Porter and Watch House Winter Warmer. For 14 years they donated to the RNLI with every beer sold, raising over £80,000 by 2025. They call it 'dangerously good beer'.
Mainland UK delivery is £10. NE1–NE34 postcodes pay £5, free on local orders over £50. Free click and collect from Lanton near Jedburgh. They can't deliver to the Scottish Highlands and Islands, Northern Ireland, the Isle of Man or the Isles of Scilly.
