A small family brewery in a brick boat shed on the banks of the river Hull, in the village of Wawne: the shed itself dates back to the 1600s. Five hundred litres at a time, traditional ales from Yorkshire grain, left to clear naturally without finings, which makes the range vegan friendly.
Aitchesons' line-up runs from Oddfellows Red Ale and Full Measure Stout through KIWI IPA and American IPA to King Billy Bitter, a traditional English bitter, and Earl De Grey English Pale Ale: proper Yorkshire brewing, small batch by design.
